At the age of 12, I started learning Wadaiko at local junior high school’s music club.
I represented junior and senior high school’s Wadaiko club and participated in numerous competitions, and also multiple national competitions.
In 2013, I joined the professional Wadaiko group called “DADADADAN Tenko”.
I participated in many performances both domestically and abroad, and was selected to play Romeo for the play of “Romeo and Juliet”, a play that belongs to the team’s “Dramatic drummer” series.
After leaving “DADADADAN Tenko”, I then formed a three-member Wadaiko performance group called “Sanbakarasu” with my high school Wadaiko club classmates.
I was in charge of the group directions and music composition at that time.
During “Wadaiko GIG presents Otobanpaku 2022”, a gig hosted by Wadaiko performance producer “Taiko GIG” (in which “Sanbakarasu” is an affiliate), I, as one of the executive committee members, took part in everything from the beginning planning work to the final performance.
Not only during the course of performance, but also when working on music composition, stage planning, management, co-ordination and other various arrangements, I would spare no effort to put on a great show!
